Find the main water valve that supplies the home and turn it to the off position.

What do I do when I hear gurgling in the toilet when I flush, or see water coming up in the tub or shower?

Locate an outdoor clean out, remove the plug carefully as water will come out where the clean out is so as to not flood your home.

If you have a singular drain (IE Lave, shower or tubs) that drains slowly with no gurgling in the toilet, it’s likely due to hair build up.

Use needle nose pliers used carefully, to clear the hair.

Instructions to relight the water heater, typically on the water heater itself. Above the control valve.

What should you do if you smell gas at or near an appliance?

****If you smell gas when you enter your home, do not enter and immediately call the gas company.
